A fifteen-year-old boy was told "you are no longer welcome to live here" by his dad. Told "you cannot stay here with your mom" by someone in the family. Driven to his grandparents' house and dropped off, like an unwanted package, watching his dad's taillights disappear down the driveway.
Satan whispered to him that night the same lie he has whispered to every wounded child since the garden: you have no value and you are forgotten. That whisper became a loud voice — through every temptation, every bad decision, every wrong road, every painful moment buried deep within my soul. The enemy got a foothold that day, and he did not let go.
But Jesus is in the business of restoration. He never quit pursuing me. The boy who believed Satan's lies was found and restored forty-six years later. Today that same boy and his wife are the founders of this ministry.
Everyone left. Jesus stayed.
