Romans 8:28 (NLT)
"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."
Proverbs 11:14 (NLT)
"Without wise leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers."
No Longer Forgotten™ is led by a board of five voting members. Three of them independent directors, who give their wisdom, accountability, and faithful prayer to every decision this ministry makes. Sarah and I are deeply grateful to walk with each of them. They are not five names on a roster. They are family.

Daryl is the boy in the memoir.
Imagine being a child, dropped off at your grandparents' house, watching your dad's taillights disappear down the driveway. Imagine being too young to fully understand, and old enough to know you were left behind — for the third time, and this time, for good. Imagine carrying that moment — that whispered lie from Satan, you are forgotten — into every season of your life that follows.
This is not imagination. This is Daryl's story. And yet — by the grace of God — it is not the whole story.
Everyone left. Jesus stayed.
Family who refused to walk away. Grandparents — MawMaw and PawPaw — whose love was shelter and security when the world had taken his from him. And a man named Cowboy Jim, who saw a lonely boy and taught him how to become a man. They were Guardian Angels — ordinary people who answered God's call to step into a child's life when no one else would.
He and his wife Sarah founded NLF together, out of a shared calling. Daryl serves as President & Chair of the Board.
To God be the glory.
Sarah is the heart that holds this ministry together.
Every founder needs an accountability partner — someone who will tell them the truth when no one else will. Every man with a calling needs a prayer warrior — someone who covers him with prayer. Every leader who carries a heavy vision needs a soulmate — someone whose presence makes the carrying possible. For Daryl, that someone is Sarah. She is all three.
She is, by every measure that matters, generous and kind. Generous with her time, her resources, her listening ear, her prayers. Kind in a way that disarms strangers and steadies the people closest to her. The kind of woman who notices the child no one else is noticing. The kind of woman whose home has always had room at the table for one more.
Daryl tells his story. Sarah lives it. Daryl carries the call. Sarah holds him up. They founded No Longer Forgotten together — husband and wife, one heart, one calling, one Lord.

Ryan serves on the No Longer Forgotten Board of Directors as the Spiritual Advisor. As Senior Pastor of Church 213, he brings to NLF the spiritual guidance that keeps this ministry grounded in the Scriptures. His pastoral wisdom, biblical depth, and shepherd's heart help ensure that every decision NLF makes — from camp programming to financial stewardship to the care of vulnerable children and their caregivers — is shaped by Christ and rooted in God's Word.
"PR" has been serving the Faith Family of Church 213 since 2017. Passionate about watching God's Word powerfully offer all people a life with purpose, he's a relatable expositor of the Scriptures who loves the church and serves God's people. With undergraduate degrees from Truett-McConnell University and the University of Georgia, as well as graduate degrees from Luther Rice College and Seminary, he's been in full-time pastoral ministry for 18 years.
When not in the pulpit, you'll find him coaching youth sports and looking for the next hole-in-the-wall chili dog spot. A popular motto is, "It's not a sin to have sauce on your chin."

Barbara serves on the No Longer Forgotten Board of Directors as the Children's Advisor & Treasurer. A sister in Christ who lives out her faith through a servant's heart, Barbara brings to NLF both careful financial stewardship and a deep, lifelong heart for the well-being of children.
A retired teacher with an extensive background in education, she has spent her professional life loving children — really loving them — and has carried that gift into every season since. Her presence on the board ensures that NLF's finances are handled with the same care she has always given the children in her charge. Her leadership as Children's Advisor ensures that every child served by this ministry is greeted by someone who has spent a lifetime knowing how to receive a child with patience, kindness, and Christ's love.
